Folding Bike Cycling is my newly discovered hobby in the UAE's capital. This is an alternative / replacement for my itchy feet on my quest to fulfill my beyond #lakbay100 journey for other countries which I did not visited yet. As what a usual traveler quote, there is no place like home. Abu Dhabi City is my home for more than three years and surprisingly, biking gave me a one-of-a-kind perspective on the amazing views of this city. Thank you Abu Dhabi :)
My biking adventure starting point is on my home building along Hamdan Street. The best way to do this journey is through Corniche area first, then go straight to Bin Zayed Highway from Saadiyat Island, Jubail Island, Yas Island theme parks (Marina Circuit, Yas Waterworld, Warner Bros World, Ferrari World) and go back to Hamdan Street. I did this journey from 0630H to 1130H with 7 bridges passed through.
Route Flow : Corniche - Bin Zayed Highway - Saadiyat Island - Jubail Island - Yas Island
Route distance : more than 70 kilometers (start / end in Hamdan Street)
Route description : amazing views along Bin Zayed Highway
Cycling tracks : only along Yas Island, the rest of the area is along the road outermost lane
Best time to bike : morning and afternoon until evening (weekend preferably)
