go online to avoid the line, cebu pacific's motto encouraging everyone to visit their website for booking details.

year 2010, I become a travel addict due to the promo fares offered by cebu pacific airline (5J), the most frequent carrier I followed. That time, I don't have credit card and as much as possible i don't want to have it due for savings precautionary measures, hehehe !!

on my 1st initial online bookings, my payment was through over-the-counter (OTC) of my savings account BDO. but as time passes by, it was tiring to visit any branch due to the stress on work and the necessity of other personal things after office. thanks to the BDO internet retail banking, i have availed my piso fare tickets last december 24, 2010 in the middle of the night and paid it via BDO's online service. That was my 1st time to do it, I don't have no other choice but to force myself and searched for alternative plan. using only my savings account, imagine i booked 1 weekend roundtrip tickets for hongkong (php969.92) and boracay(php155.04) for a combined price of php1,124.96 !!!

here was the process how did i pay through my online computer only.

step 1: booked your preferred schedule and destination. when in payment process, choose PAYMENT CENTERS and select in the drop-down Payment Center - Banco de Oro then click CONTINUE

step 2: copy Confirmation Number or print itinerary receipt

step 3: then proceed to myBDO, log-in to your account. Proceed to my Profile tab / Merchant / Enroll Merchant

step 4: Select on drop-down menu under Merchant Name CEBU PACIFIC AIR.
Leave Blank in Product Type field.
Enter 14-digit Confirmation Number for Subscriber Number field.
Put your full name under Subscriber Name field.
Then, click Submit. You will see transaction acknowledgement after you click submit. Remember your Subscriber Number.

step 5: go to my Financial Services / Bills Payment / Pay Merchants

step 6: select on Merchant/Prod Type/Subscriber No drop-down your Subscriber Number. Put the EXACT AMOUNT as what stated on your itinerary receipt. Type of Transaction is Immediate Payment. Then click Next.

step 7: You will see your Bills Payment summary. Once you are confirmed to all data inputted, click confirm. Presto, you have now paid your ticket purchased online without the hassle of moving your body in the bank and without the aid of the credit card.

step 8: To check whether it was indeed paid, wait for at least 1 working day then go to my Financial Services / Bills Payment / Payment status Inquiry then click Next. Here is a sample of confirmed receipt, my piso sale roundtrip ticket hongkong-bound purchased last december 24, 2010 with the amount of php969.62.

Hope this helps ^_^
