The Peak Tower is located at an elevation of 396 m, 156 m below the summit of Victoria Peak. Because the architects sought a design which would be prominent on the skyline but would not interrupt the natural line of the hills, they chose a site in a dip along the line of the hills, and restricted the tower's height to 428 m above sea level.

The Peak Tower boasts the highest 360° viewing platform - The Sky Terrace 428. Standing at 428 metres above sea level, the Sky Terrace 428 offers spectacular panoramic views of the vibrant city – from the stunning cityscape to the tranquility of greenery landscape. this is the reason why i did not enter the international commercial centre's (ICC) sky 100 located in kowloon. sky100 is the highest indoor observation deck in hongkong at 100th floor at a height of 393 meters. both offers 360 degrees panoramic view of hongkong.
