My Covid19 Test (PCR Nasal/Antigen) Summary (2020-2021)

01. Before travel, always confirm the Negative PCR Test requirement and health status registration on your airline, country of destination and transit airport. If possible, always have a Negative PCR Test printout to avoid delays in arrival airport.

02. In UAE last Aug. to Sep. 2020: I'm one of 30,000 volunteers of Sinopharm Phase III Covid19 Inactivated Vaccine in Abu Dhabi (Filipino volunteers are around 2,000). My 7 weeks program started in Aug. 2020 with 2 sets of vaccine, 4 PCR Test (Nasal Swab only), monitoring journal, and follow-up phonecalls. http://www.theviewingdeck.com/2020/09/covid-19-phase-iii-inactivated-trial.html

03. In Philippines last Oct. 2020: arrival airline requires within 96 hours Negative PCR Test and if OFW, registration on Philippine Red Cross via https://e-cif.redcross.org.ph/ for PCR Test (Nasal/Oral Swab) in NAIA (1.5 days result, free of charge).
Departure requirement depends on airline and destination (UAE). I had my PCR Test (Nasal/Oral Swab) with St. Luke's QC (12 hours, PHP 4,300).

04. In Haiti last Oct. 2020: on arrival surprisingly, healthcare workers asked for Negative PCR Test after I passed the immigration in airport arrival (usually they asked 1st before immigration), good thing I still have the printout copy from the Philippines which was more than 4 days duration already but they accepted it. I immediately went out of the airport. Departure requirement depends on airline and destination (Dominican Republic).

05. In Dominican Republic last Oct. 2020: they don't require anything on arrival. Departure requirement depends on airline and destination (Ukraine).

06. In Ukraine last Oct. 2020: arrival requirement depends on country of origin via this link https://www.visitukraine.today, Fortunately, Philippines is a Green Zone country for them which doesn't need to provide Negative PCR Test. Departure requirement depends on airline and destination (UAE). I found the Esculab Clinic through www.purehealth.com for PCR Test (Nasal/Oral Swab), 50 USD with 2 days result and no appointment required. Certification was sent on email in English but I still visit the clinic for print-out copy.

07. In Mexico last Dec. 2020: arrival requires only to register via https://afac.hostingerapp.com. Departure requirement depends on airline and destination (Belize). I google map the word "laboratorio" and fortunately there are clinics near my hostel location. I found Salud-digna Clinic (www.salud-digna.org) for PCR Test (Nasal/Oral Swab), 50 USD with 3 days result, appointment and physical passport is required. Unfortunately, all clinics provide Certification in Spanish only.

08. In Belize last Dec 2020: arrival requires Negative PCR test within 96 hours and Belize health registration downloadable inside of this link https://belizing.com/coronavirus/. Screenshot the QR Code as this will be inspected. Departure requirement depends on airline and destination (Guatemala). PCR Test (Nasal Swab only) for travelers are centralized via Ministry of Health. Email dhsmohw@health.gov.bz and dhsoffice@health.gov.bz at least one week in advance as the test is usually twice a week only. I made my PCR Test in Matron Roberts PolyClinic in Belize City with email approval, appointment and physical passport requirement. Tests costs 50 USD with 4 days result.

09. I made transits (less than 24 hours stay) in New York JFK, Miami MIA, Amsterdam AMS and Frankfurt FRA last Oct and Nov. 2020 with no PCR Test requirement. Transit Airport USUALLY doesn't require PCR Test, always confirm this information on your airline.

10. Travel planning should be carefully researched about the destination requirements before arrival, include additional budget for Covid19 PCR Tests (, and be prepared for the outcome), Antigen, etc. and travel insurance with specific Covid19 coverage.

11. Based on above patterns, (1) new travel norm requires Negative PCR test result and health status registration WITHOUT any symptoms of Covid19 disease (fever 37'C, cough, sore throat, loss of taste, loss of smell, diarrhea, headache and breathing difficulty), (2) usual PCR Test validity is 72 to 96 hours (3-4 days) before arrival (land border or airport), (3) sometimes online registration and appointment is required before test (4) physical passport is needed before test (5) usual PCR Test cost is 50 to 130 USD with 2-4 days result processing.

12. Deal with it, this is the new norm whether you like it or not; if you want to survive the entertainment / tourism / aviation industry, if you want the small scale entrepreneurs get back on their feet, if you want to chase your dream on those wonderful places and if you want to experience the awesome things in the world.

13. As what the Abu Dhabi Public Health Center says, "Covid19 will not disappear unless we fight. We hope you choose to vaccinate to break the infection chain and be a part of victory against this pandemic".
