Folding Bike Cycling is my newly discovered hobby in the UAE's capital. This is an alternative / replacement for my itchy feet on my quest to fulfill my beyond #lakbay100 journey for other countries which I did not visited yet. As what a usual traveler quote, there is no place like home. Abu Dhabi City is my home for more than three years and surprisingly, biking gave me a one-of-a-kind perspective on the amazing views of this city. Thank you Abu Dhabi :)
My biking adventure starting point is on my home building along Hamdan Street. The best way to do this journey is through Al Bateen first, then to Al Khaleej Al Arabi Road passing through Capital Center, Zayed Sports City, making U-turn in Grand Mosque, coming back through Bin Saeed Road (Airport Road).
Route Flow : Al Bateen - Capital Center - Grand Mosque - Zayed Sports City - Philippine Embassy - Airport Road
Route distance : more than 35 kilometers (start / end in Hamdan Street)
Route description : amazing views along Al Khaleej Al Arabi Road and Grand Mosque
Cycling tracks : along the road outermost lane
Best time to bike : morning and afternoon until evening (weekend preferably)
