My Top Nine Best Travels in 2015

6th year of my travel addictiveness, adventures that made me want to go back there
2015 "the viewing deck" year-ender report

“Nobody can discover the world for somebody else. Only when we discover it for ourselves does it become common ground and a common bond and we cease to be alone.” – Wendell Berry

Recalling the moment when I've been asked what are my dream destinations, I told them only the places I think I can possibly achieve that time based on the resources and capabilities I had. Five years after that simple question, I still could not believe I already been visited the places which I only just watch in movies and "Amazing Race" routes. I consider 2015 as "the saga that never ends" year of my travel addictiveness because of the following reasons;

1. visited a total of 22 countries (17 new, 5 revisited), in which the majority has a very developed economy. Thus, high budget is required for any tourist visitors.
2. revisited Japan for the 3rd time but on this time I brought my mother with me.
3. experienced the coldest city capital in the world at around -20'C.
4. adventured Europe for the 3rd time but this time I included those countries not belong to Schengen states.
5. reached my new extreme high altitude level on a mountain in Nepal at 5,550masl.
6. went to my homeland on 5x because I already resigned to my work.

My Top Nine Best Travels in 2015

Ulaanbaatar, Mongolia

Sighisoara, Romania

Krakow, Poland

I ranked these posts based on the adventure I have encountered, budget and how happy and satisfied I am through the planning, journey and the outcome.
February 15 to 19, 2015
- this trip is astonishing because the main reason why I visited Mongolia is because of Genghis Khan and to challenge myself withstanding the coldest city capital of the world on its winter season.

8th: Romania (Dracula's Transylvania)
June 17 to 19, 2015
- this trip is astonishing because of the "Count Dracula" legend which in actual is just a novel-based thought and also to see the countryside.

June 25 to 26, 2015
- this trip is astonishing because I never thought that Poland has a very promising heritage architectures, it's like more than meets the eye. I just stayed for 2 days and yet the itinerary is full-packed to see Poland best tourist attraction.

Plitvice Lakes, Croatia

Budapest, Hungary

Isfahan, Iran

June 13 to 14, 2015
- this trip is astonishing because Croatia is emerging now as next spot for backpackers and tourist who long for not so mainstream places.

5th: Hungary (lively Eastern Europe)
June 20 to 22, 2015
- this trip is astonishing because I stayed in Budapest for 3 nights and I concluded that Budapest is one of the best Europe cities for me aside from Amsterdam.
November 08 to 14, 2015
- this trip is astonishing because Iran is totally the opposite of what mainstream media is telling. Iranians are very friendly, even the place is totally solo backpacker friendly. Iran is very safe to travel.

Caramoan Budget Family Tour; Whole day Island Tour Long Trip (Manlawi Sandbar)
- this trip is astonishing because finally after multiple times of planning, I even visited this gorgeous place with my family and on budget-constrain basis.
February 10 to 14, 2015
- this trip is astonishing because finally I gave my mother the experience of snowfall and the winter season itself.

1st: Nepal (5,550m summit solo climb)
November 27 to December 14, 2015
- this trip is astonishing because I somehow conquered the roof of the world, Himalayas' Mt Everest Base Camp, which is my 2nd to step-foot to the mountains of Seven Summit. I reached the point 5,550m (Kalapathar) before I decided to decent back.
