important note (laguna):
Laguna is a province of the Philippines found in the CALABARZON region in Luzon. Its capital is Santa Cruz and almost completely surrounds Laguna de Bay, the largest lake in the country. The province acquired its name from the Spanish word lago, which means lake or lagoon. This place is notable for being the birthplace of Jose Rizal, the country's national hero.

from binan;

left manila in 0640H and made our way to SLEX then going to southwoods exit via hired van for 6 pax. we arrived 0815H with almost abosolute no traffic jam. dropped-in first to metrodeal's booth to exchange the printed vouchers to entrance tickets. then, we entered the park after the crew inspected our bags for possible drinks and some food stuff. there are free cottage offered but the locations were not so way off to the main attractions. most of the exciting and cool rides opened on 1030H and 1200H. that time also there were batch of college students so crowds were everywhere. my favorite slides were king pilipit and  big bamboo because of the rush and sudden drop-outs, i even repeated it by 4 times. we had our lunch in their food court buying the inasal with rice for an affordable and very reasonable price of php100. we left this park around 1430H.

to calamba;

we went back to SLEX going to calamba exit then made our way to rizal shrine and calamba church for the 2nd part of my lakbay rizal quest. rizal shrine is a national shrine, it is a replica of the Rizal House by Juan Nakpil. no entrance fee and i turned-in my pasaporte for stamping then stroll sround the house and backyard for couple of minutes. we proceeded next to the calamba church. this is a national historical landmark, Rizal was baptized in the church by Fr. Rufino Collantes on June 22, 1861. i made my 11th stamped on this site.

10. RIZAL SHRINE (laguna) - A National Shrine, it is a replica of the Rizal House by Juan Nakpil. Restored by Executive Order No. 145 of President Elpidio Quirino, it was inaugurated on June 19, 1950.
11. CALAMBA CHURCH (laguna) - A National Historical Landmark, Rizal was baptized in the church by Fr. Rufino Collantes on June 22, 1861.

supposedly, my plan was to finished the region 4 area for lakbay rizal on this day but due to the awaiting traffic jam in sumulong highway as adviced by the driver, i postponed the trip and decided to went home. and so it goes, i finished another round of day-trip and lakbay-rizal's chapter.
