Procrastination Laidback day trip to ease the pressure of reality May 30 to 31, 2023
“In this life, you don’t have to prove nothin’ to nobody but yourself. And after what you’ve gone through, if you haven’t done that by now, it ain’t gonna never happen. Now go on back.”
This is my first laidback staycation in Metro Manila. I chose the Malate area because of the proximity to Manila Baywalk, food trip, night life and ease of transportation. I stayed in Pearl Lane Hotel for one night PHP1,700 in Malvar Street, Taft Avenue with no hotel amenities.
I went there just after having lunch in my home, travelled from QC to Malvar Street, Taft Avenue via E-Jeep, hotel check-in, sightsee the sunset in Manila Dolomite Beach while sitting on the sand until it closes, food trip in Jims Pares for only PHP130 (complete set) then tasted some new alcohol drinks. The next day woke up early for some morning speed walking in the Baywalk going to CCP area, then went to PGH for consultation queries regarding my female cousin's 3rd degree burn which happened more than 10 years ago, play the horrible Axie Infinity origins because I have nothing else to do then go home. Fortunately, the storm became weak on this week and I faced only strong winds, a very good day to relax.
