Family DIY Trip from Roxas to Boracay 1st part: the Adventure 2013

Boracay island; my 1st on solo visit (Dec. 2011)

My 12th family outing initiated, their 4th beachineering trip (following La Union (2011), Samal Island (2012) and El Nido(2012)), and of course, usual budget do-it-yourself itinerary from arrival to departure.

After having a proud accomplishment of fun-hike self-organize solo climb 4,095m elevation of Mt. Kinabalu in Sabah, Malaysia then moving afterwards as my 24th solo backpacking trip to another one of the best country in the world, the Land of the Rising sun, Japan. Time to have a boundless relaxation with family in the most prestigious/renowned white beach in the Philippines and in the World, Boracay Island.

The adventure was not included in the budget, initial planning and itinerary. But due to what we saw and the boredom we felt to level-up the white beach fun-swimming, why not try that awesome adventures during our morning day-tour. When we visited the Mt. Luho viewing deck, we passed-by the zipline. My sister doesn't experience yet the thrill, she requested, who am I to deny. I bargained the price from Php700 to Php600 only. Afterwards, going back to white beach where we stared to the parachute airing beneath the scorching heat of the sun. I invited my fearless 7-years old nephew to join me to have our first experience. Initial quote was Php2,000, I looked again for another tout, he told me 2 pax for Php1,600. I told him the other passenger is 7-yrs old only, why not give Php1,500 for both of us. With free speed/motor boat experience for four of us, me and my nephew went successfully for 15-mins parachute sailing with stunning view overlooking the Boracay Island.
