sightseeing the quote of the month (SEPTEMBER 2014)

To get away from one's working environment is, in a sense, to get away from one's self; and this is often the chief advantage of travel and change. ~ Charles Horton Cooley

What Tourist Spots Visayas has

Mabuhay tayong mga Pinoy para sa Pilipinas! ^_^

I have visited 11 out of 16 (68.75%) provinces in the Visayas region as of June 2013, making it 71.25% completion on my quest to sight-see and recognize entire 80 provinces of the Philippines' nature and man-made wonders.

Visayas is one of the three principal geographical divisions of the Philippines. It consists of several islands, primarily surrounding the Visayan Sea, although the Visayas are considered the northeast extremity of the entire Sulu Sea. The peoples of the Visaya Islands are known as the Visayans. The major islands of the Visayas are Panay, Negros, Cebu, Bohol, Leyte, and Samar.
