What's with this provinces (my 10th solo backpacking)
August 13-15, 2011 Saturday to Monday
objective: to visit the best tourist spots that fits my taste and budget accordingly
additional task: to continue the lakbay rizal quest and explore what this provinces can offer at limited time
Woke-up early for maximizing my time in exciting tour for the day. My habal-habal ride was recommended by the lodge for this tour and I contracted him for a roundtrip to dakak. there is no public vehicle that goes there.

Dakak beach resort is 30 minutes away from dapitan plaza and day tour
starts at 0700H. I thought this resort caters only above average people
and I was wrong, with entrance fee of PhP200 only that includes php100
food consumable. as I arrived to the entrance, there was a service van
that brings me up to the lobby. i took breakfast 1st, for a boneless
bangus, 2 eggs and rice, a bill of PhP196 (inclusive of 10% service
charge and 12% government tax) is very enough knowing how famous this
resort is and how much entrance fee I paid.

Lots of aqua sports offered like jetskiing (php5,900/hr) and
single kayak. The beach is like an open lagoon, every time i took shots the thought is always been like this. I did not went to repeater (the area with over 300 steps where you can have the overlooking panoramic view of the resort) because i found another trail that I assumed as it but the trail leads me to nowhere, just pure forestry. There was also ongoing renovations anywhere so expect in the near future more world class appearance.

I left this resort at 1100H. an almost 4 hours of stay can suffice the day-tour. thanks dakak!

The pics look great, brings back memories. I spent my honeymoon here in March 2006. The place really needed better maintainance but was still very relaxing and peaceful.
