How to Go to Expo City Dubai;

The best, fastest and cheapest way is via Dubai Metro. By farthest station, the maximum fare is 7.5 AED (2.2 USD). Free admission to entire location except for the pavillions (50 AED admission). Personal photography and video taking is allowed. Opens everyday from 10am to 10pm.

This is my 3rd short hike in United Arab Emirates during winter season following the Jebel Jais in Ral Al Khaimah (Feb. 2017) and Jebel Hafeet in Al Ain (Feb. 2017). Hatta is an exclave of Dubai, high in the Hajar Mountains. At the nearby Hatta Dam, the Hatta Reservoir Visitor Point overlooks the pools of striking green water.

How to Go to Hatta Water Dam;
From Dubai Sabha Bus Station, there is an every hour departure directly to Hatta Bus Station (Bus # E16) for 10 AED on a 2.5 hour journey. No registration needed and free admission to the dam. Dubai Bus Schedule can be checked on this link...

Morning after the Axe Apollo Middle East Grand Finale event, I decided to make a short morning walk-around tour before my flight departure back to my country of work. From Media Hotel Rotana, taxi fare going to Jumeirah open beach was only 23 AED on average using their standard meter. A round trip cab fare cost 50AED including taxi tip. Around 1130H I decided to go back after sightseeing those bikini's while struggling to avoid the scorching heat of the sun.

Jumeira Beach', named after the Jumeirah district of Dubai, is a white sand beach stretching along the coast south of the city's historic district to the junction with The Palm Jumeirah and terminating between the southern end of the Jumeirah Beach Residence adjacent to the Dubai Marina district) and the port facilities at Jebel Ali. The adjacent districts to the beach include Jumeirah (1, 2, & 3); Umm Suqeim (1, 2, & 3); and Al Sufouh, though colloqually, this entire string of neighborhoods and districts from the southern edge of Kerama to the terminus of the Palm Jumeirah at Knowledge Village are sometimes referred to as the "Jumeirah Beach Road" area.

Nothing beats an Astronaut.

Axe is recruiting a few brave civilians for the opportunity of a lifetime - a trip to space. As in, actual space.

"Space travel for everyone is the next frontier in the human experience," Buzz Aldrin, who became the second person ever to walk on the moon during NASA's 1969 Apollo 11 mission in 1969, said in a statement. "I'm thrilled that AXE is giving the young people of today such an extraordinary opportunity to experience some of what I've encountered in space." 

Arriving from Dubai International Airport Terminal 2 around 1200H, waited for more than an hour for a Hotel Representative to fetch me up. Good thing I have roaming signal to follow-up my status as I'm starving and bored. After numerous exchanged of sms and calls, finally I've reached the hotel around 1400H. Again, there was some misunderstanding about the accommodation as it was initially charge to our personal account as per hotel's reservation staff. I've called again to clarify the details of it and finally resolved after less than hour including the lunch as there were only few minutes to pick us up going to the place of event. Though this experience in Dubai somewhat a little bit discomfortable (I've been in this city for three times), I still felt disorientated about what will happen next. Anways, around 1645H, we're on our way to Royal Ballroom, Royal Mirage, One & Only Hotel.

The 22 winners will be selected during the AXE Global Space Camp in Orlando, Florida which features exciting space-simulation challenges. This tasks include high speed jets that will flip you around, parabolic flights that will get you weightless, and a centrifuge that will crush you with either centripetal or centrifugal force.  X-COR Lynx is designed to fly two people — one pilot and a passenger — to an altitude of 62 miles (100 kilometers) during suborbital flight.

After the campaign above kicked-off last January 2013, I  signed-up for a profile representing State of Kuwait, I am a legitimate resident and worker on this country.
