Mt. Apo (2,954masl) Day-Hike (Sibulan Trail)

MT. APO DAY HIKE (Sibulan Trail)
- Philippines' highest mountain at 2,954masl / Sibulan trail (difficult back trail)
- Hiked on 24km at 15 hours with 1,800m elevation gain / one of the hardest dayhike I've had
- my 6th of Seven Natural Wonders of the Philippines
- day hike package costs PHP 3,000 (includes hiking permit, roundtrip transpo to Davao City, 2 meals, guide fee, certificate and free dri-fit souvenir shirt)

Requirements:
- Safe Davao QR Code registration / Health certificate (fit to climb)
- PHP 1,000 down payment / RT-PCR Test 72 hour duration (Davao flight)

1. I consider Mt. Apo dayhike as my 2nd "die-hike" due to long duration of hiking, and difficulty of the trail (might be because I have lots of signs of aging). Both of my considered die-hikes are in the Philippines (first one was the 22 hours Mt. Mariveles traverse trail).

2. The difficulty of this day hike is harder than I experienced compared to hiking lots of famous day hikes abroad particularly in Latin America (in terms of elevation gain, hike duration and trail technicalities).

3. Mt. Apo dayhike is my last mountain hiking escapade. Much of thanks to all those trekking memories, it's now time to retire.
