Annapurna Circuit and Base Camp Introduction

There is an ordinary bus from Kathmandu (Gongabu Bus Park) to Besisahar which departs daily at 0600H at less than 500 NPR fare. Since I still have fear of inevitable motion sickness from my last long bus ride, I decided to take the Pokhara tourist bus from Kantipath, dropped-off to Dumre for a local bus to Besisahar. Upon my arrival in Besisahar, I was surprised that there was already a 4x4 jeep that could bring a hiker all the way to Pisang or Manang. I inquired about the fare and they told me 4,000 NPR depending on passenger quantities, thus, even departure time is unpredictable. Good thing my hiking instinct on me kicked-in and reminded that taking this ride is like a cheating for completing the circuit. TIMS checkpoint is Besisahar for entry hike. Another local bus to Ngadi since it was already late afternoon and stayed there for a night. The next day, trek from Ngadi to Chyamche was somehow an easy trail.

REMINDER: Please take note that my trekking hours is of below average, I'm always lagging for around an hour to the next destination. Also, check-out bill in the morning day after includes lodging for 1 room, dinner and breakfast.
