Poland 2-Days Trip 4th part; Sopot Morning Walk
I roam the city through self-guided walk accompanied by a downloaded map online starting from Warsaw Train Station which is around a kilometer away to the Old town. I passed-by the Palace of Culture and Science (tallest building in Poland and the eighth tallest building in the European Union), Royal Castle (former official residence of the Polish monarchs), Old Town and how locals and other tourists hassles on the streets. Photography and video taking is allowed.
Warsaw has been the capital of the country since 1596 (the medieval capital of Poland was the southern city of Krakow) and has grown to become Poland's largest city and the nation's urban and commercial center. Completely destroyed by the Nazis during World War II, the city managed to lift itself from the ashes.
