Khobar (also written as al-Khobar) is a large city located in the Eastern Province of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia on the Persian Gulf. Many of Khobar's residents work for Saudi Aramco, the world's largest oil company. Traditionally, Khobar has also been a city of shopkeepers and merchants, and the city today has many modern malls and boulevards with shops run by international franchises, and restaurants. I did not stay much on this 2 cities due I am really lost (zero itinerary) and even when I took a cab I don't even know where to drop. since the next trip to riyadh train is 1522H, I decided to just stay in a filipino mall in al khobar city center and took my lunch in our famous local fastfood. afterwards, stroll a little bit then headback to railway station. lots of camels in the dessert just strolling around so be prepare on your camera.
