In April 2018, the United Nations General Assembly declared June 3 as International World Bicycle Day. The resolution for World Bicycle Day recognizes "the uniqueness, longevity and versatility of the Bicycle, which has been in use for two centuries, and that it is a simple, affordable, reliable, clean and environmentally fit sustainable means of transport.

Folding Bike Cycling is my newly discovered hobby in the UAE's capital. This is an alternative / replacement for my itchy feet on my quest to fulfill my beyond #lakbay100 journey for other countries which I did not visited yet. As what a usual traveler quote, there is no place like home. Abu Dhabi City is my home for more than three years and surprisingly, biking gave me a one-of-a-kind perspective on the amazing views of this city. Thank you Abu Dhabi :)
My biking adventure starting point is on my home building along Hamdan Street. The best way to do this journey is through Al Meena Street first, then to all the way to E10 Road going to Dubai.
Route Flow : Al Meena - E10 Road - Sheik Zayed Bridge
Route distance : more than 60 kilometers (start / end in Hamdan Street)
Route description : almost exactly along the main road, always observe safety biking
Cycling tracks : along the road outermost lane
Best time to bike : afternoon until evening (weekend preferably)
