Suspension Bridges along Trail in Hiking Jiri to Everest Base Camp

There is only an ordinary bus from Kathmandu to Jiri which departs daily at 0600H and 0800H timings only. Booking a day before is a must if you want to have a sure seat beside window, please take note that motion sickness for 7 hours travel time is inevitable. Bus station is at Purano Bus Park infront of Nepal Tourism Board and near Ratna Park. Bus fare is 600 NPR. Jump-off point from Jiri is per 6th image below, on immediate ascent in forest. The most confusing part of this trek was how to locate the trail going to Mali Village, which I was lost initially. Asking locals is the important key to go back on track. From Jiri, gradual ascent to Mali then gradual, slippery descent to Shivalaya. An orange marker is always visible on the trail which made it easier to trek. Permit validation is in Shivalaya Tourist Information Office.

REMINDER: Please take note that my trekking hours is of below average, I'm always lagging for around an hour to the next destination. Also, check-out bill in the morning day after includes lodging for 1 room, dinner and breakfast.
