December 14, 2012 Friday
With maximum sustained
winds that reached 185 kph, Typhoon Pablo (Bopha) is the strongest
storm to hit Mindanao in two decades. 'Sendong,'
considered one of the deadliest cyclones to enter the country in 12
years, battered northern Mindanao in December last year, leaving 1,257
people dead and P1.6 billion damage in agriculture and properties. The death toll to tropical storm "Pablo" rose to 1,050 while the estimated damage to properties increased to P34.40 billion. Of the 1,050 dead, 694 have been identified. Some 838 remained missing while 2,662 were injured.
In this regard, Pinoy digital Photographers in Kuwait (Pindot) organized another photoshoot for a cause to assist our fellow countrymen.
