Pagadian City on the Go

what's with this provinces (my 10th solo backpacking)
august 13-15, 2011 saturday to monday

objective:
to visit the best tourist spots that fits my taste and budget accordingly
additional task: to continue the lakbay rizal quest and explore what this provinces can offer at limited time

weekend journey to zamboanga peninsula
dipolog city hopping (lakbay rizal 4th part)
dakak beach resort day tour
dapitan city rizal tour (lakbay rizal 4th part)

important note (zamboanga del sur):
Zamboanga del Sur is a province of the Philippines located in the Zamboanga Peninsula region in Mindanao. Pagadian City is the capital, which is also the Center of Region IX. The province borders Zamboanga del Norte to the north, Zamboanga Sibugay to the west, Misamis Occidental to the northeast, and Lanao del Norte to the east. To the south is the Moro Gulf. The name of Zamboanga was derived from the Malay word "Jambangan", meaning a pot or place of flowers

arrived in pagadian bus terminal past 2000H then took a ride to their unique tricycle for php20 fare. imagine an average of 35 degrees inclination, free stargazing while having the suffocating ride due the sky is directly line of sight.

woke up early for the 3rd time contracted habal-habal joy ride in pagadian city tour. we first went to the pulacan falls which is 30 meters waway from the highway and approximate 30 minutes away from downtown. no entrance fees, very refreshing to see and ideal for my local waterfalls collection.

after the falls, we went straight to palpalan peak, the highest point in pagadian city. at the summit, you can see lot of big radomes embedded on different set of antennas. i dont why they say that you can see above the panoramic view of pagadian. in my experience i don't see any, somehow waste of time.

my last stop is the pagadian airport. took early lunch first then check-in. departure is just on time, thanks zamboanga peninsula!

remarks:

* last trip of bus from dipolog city to dapitan city is 1700H (php20) while to pagadian city is 1600H (php165)
* at least look for habal-habal night before so that in the morning there will be no time to waste.
* zamnorte-zamsur locals are very nice, i really appreciate their efforts in my helpless quest for this awesome tourist spots.
