Saranggani - Lake Sebu Weekend Escapade 1st part

start of 2011 summer get-away
march 4-6, 2011 saturday to monday

objective: to visit the best tourist spots that fits my taste and budget accordingly
additional task: to experience the highest zipline in asia

important note (sarangani):
Sarangani is part of the South Cotabato-Sultan Kudarat-Sarangani-Gen. Santos City (Soccsksargen) development cluster, and is linked by paved roads to the international airport and world-class fish port of Gen. Santos City. Gen. Santos City’s airport has one of the country’s longest runways. With its proximity to its regional counterparts, Sarangani is in a unique position to marshal its resources, entice tourists and investors, and compete in an international market under a borderless trade regime.

DAY ONE:
SARANGGANI

availed tickets through 101010 promo fare of cebu pacific, we almost not aboard the plane due to the 'naga' sign showing infront of us where it is our boarding time already. anyways, we arrived in general santos city at 0900H, then went to KCC mall for somehow minor stuff and lunch. after that, the van terminal going to glam poblacion was just nearby the mall. past 1100H we arrive to the rosal resort in gumasa beach, the boracay of the south having our cottage in beachfront. we stayed there until midnight. photo-ops, fine beach, playing with the waves, and food trips. This was one of my best beach ever visited, lined-up with calagusan beach of basilan, moalboal beach of cebu and samal island of davao. we ate dried fish and squid as our dinner.

at night socials, creepy stories was our appetizer wherein we talk about the real tourist impact on siquijor, the aswangs, the unexplained behaviours, the local horror movie analysis and the ghostly encounters unfold in the net. of course, while having this spooky conversation, winds becoming stronger and goosebumps felt periodically. around 2300H, we have decided to sleep but the lights outside was switch-on, awooohhh !!
